“Let’s go to the hop”
Come on down, get your red shoes on and let’s go to the hop like these crazy cats here!
I love my hops when it comes to beer. There’s nothing quite like a bite to a good ale. IPAs are some of my favorite beers. In all the hype and hustle though, brewers keep building strong beers. Certainly this is a good thing for craft beer aficionados. Yet decent brews for with meals or something with a little less abv are becoming in demand. Stone has met this challenge with their Go-To-IPA.
Go-To-IPA is a dark gold beer with a three and a half finger off-white head when you pour it. The first flavors that hit you when you drink this refreshing ale is the hop. Their hop bursting technique that they discuss on their etched bottle is absolutely revolutionary. It allows this beer to be possible and have exceptionally quality. This is a welcome addition to the Stone portfolio! I digress though.
Going back to the beer, the hop flavors are clear and present. But a hint of maltiness shines through just enough. That is what makes this refreshing beer have a bite. Keep up the good work, Stone Brewing Company. I’m going to be reviewing more of your beers soon enough.
Now let’s get going to the hop.
I’ll have to try this. I like Stone’s regular IPA and am quite fond of Founder’s All Day IPA (it’s also 4.5%) Thanks for the tip, Brandon.
