Background: This is the last English beer I have in my possession that I’m trying. I’m eager to enjoy this. It is an English style IPA.
Taste & Aroma: The first smell that hit my nose was bready malt. This is a nice earthy start to a basic but excellent beer. The taste is a dry malt with a hop bite at the finish. The hops here are English: deep, dry, and a tad fruity. This is an IPA that is more refreshing that what you would expect from Heineken.
Final Analysis: This is a decent beer to near the tail end of the British beer tour I’ve been on. I would say I’ll try five or six more of these beers from that green and pleasant land and then I’ll switch to beers of a different sort.
