Background: It is coffee time again. I’m all out of Lavazza, so I’m dipping into my ole reserve. In the reserve is Starbucks House Blend, I used my French Press today as I need some strong coffee this morning.

Taste & Aroma: The nose is evocative of cedar trees and freshly sharpened pencils in a classroom. The flavors here are gentle and subtle. This is a bright, yet earthy coffee to be having in the morning.

Pending Analysis: It loves the French Press. Starbucks has something good here. I think I’ll seek this out in pour over form in the future. This is a quality coffee. I’m happy I am having it this morning.
