Sometimes there is no desire to cook breakfast or enough time for breakfast. But breakfast is oftentimes the one meal the body lusts for with a passion. One is breaking the fast of night afterall. Today I really didn’t want to cook breakfast. Instead, I heated up a Jimmy Dean Sausage Breakfast Biscuit.
This one’s for you Big John.
Jimmy Dean’s Sausage has been around for a long, long time. His frozen breakfast foods are impressive considering what they are: frozen breakfast foods. His sausage egg and cheese biscuits are almost his flagship. But, I’m not really sure what is.
The sausage here is how sausage should be: sharp, earthy, and savory. The egg is what you’d expect. The biscuit is delicious and what you would expect: spongy and airy. The cheese is the only part lacking in this biscuit whatsoever. It is American cheese and just bland and lackluster as expected. Most of the time I remove the cheese before heating. For the purpose of this review I decided to retain the cheese.

This is an excellent breakfast for those with limited time and who need to be on the go. I recommend these biscuits without reservation. Oh oh! Better Call Felix. Everyone, Bambi and Thumper just showed up and want some of these. I never share.
