Beer: Double Barrel Ale
Beer Style: Oak Barrel English Pale Ale
Brewery: Firestone Walker
Country of Origin: United States of America
Abv: 5.00%
Serving methodology: 12 oz can poured into shaker pint
Background: I’ve not had too many Firestone Walker beers. I figured there was no time like the present to begin.
Taste & Aroma: The pleasant smells of dark fruit and breads are exiting the can and hitting my nostrils here. A good opener. Toasty malts with a sharp, bready, and biscuity finish are present here. This is a simple and delicious beer. As the beer warms, the toasted oak bite comes out strong. Frankly, this beer is probably best from the bottle instead of the can. Live and learn. This is still delicious though!

Final Analysis: This is a beer that I really enjoyed. And I’d buy it again. Amanda had one sip and really enjoyed it herself.
