Beer: Pale 31
Beer Style: Pale Ale
Abv: 4.90%
Brewery: Firestone Walker
Country of Origin: United States of America
Serving Methodology: 12 oz can poured into shaker pint
Background: Double Barrel Ale was a good time. I’m eager to explore more Firestone Walker beers, and this is the second one I have in my possession. Hopefully it is as good as the Double Barrel Ale.
Taste & Aroma: Wow!! This is my kind of beer. I’m smelling freshly mown grass and biscuits here. The taste of course is where things count in beer, and this beer has got the taste! Good malt backbone is present and it was expected. This is a pale ale, not an IPA. The finish is sharp with a spicy hop bite. That is expected. After all, this is a pale ale, not an IPA.
Final Analysis: This is a superior beer. Quality is present in the taste and the aroma. I am going to continue to explore more Firestone Walker Beers and also explore more McGargles Beers soon. These two breweries produce an excellent craft beer product.
