Beer: Back In Black
Beer Style: Black IPA
Brewery: 21st Amendment
Abv: 6.8%
Serving Methodology: 12 oz can poured into 16oz pint glass
Country of Origin: United States of America
Background: I’ve been under the weather for the past three days. I finally feel a hundred percent. It is beer time. And what better beer to have than a Black IPA. An underrated beer style if there ever was one. This is a beer style where the stout and the IPA enjoy a great marriage and the offspring they produce is a prodigy. I’ve not had one of these in ages so I’m excited to say the least.
Taste & Aroma: The smell of roasted grain is present right away. Delicious! The flavor is excellent! Charcoal and coffee notes from the roasted malt due the beer well for it’s backbone. The herbal hop bite gives this beer a sharp and refreshing finish. You would do yourself a favor to have this beer immediately.
Final Analysis: This is an excellent beer and I would buy a six pack of it at the soonest instant if it was available to me in a local liquor store.
