Gevalia’s coffee has to be one of the world’s best. I’m convinced of it. I’ve written about some of their other offerings: here, and their brilliant espresso drink for keurigs here. Obviously, I’ve been on a dark roast/flavored coffee kick as of late. Their dark roast has been on my radar for some time. Let’s talk about it.

The earthy aroma has me thinking about the rich soil and that the coffee was grown in. The taste here is rich, light, and acidic. I’m unaware of this coffee’s origin. That isn’t important as this blend is refined excellence. I could likely drink this coffee all day long. I enjoy dark roasts. While their caffeine is low their bold flavors reach a high water mark other roasts can only aspire to.
