Lately, I’ve been enjoying egg sandwiches for breakfast. These are simple and delicious. Three eggs that were fried on medium heat seasoned with freshly ground peppercorn or with oregano. Then two pieces of wheat bread toasted on my toaster’s intermediate setting is the bread for this sandwich. I don’t like my toast burnt. I like a crispy texture. Burnt toast is no friend of mine. Furthermore, the toast is dry. I am becoming a fan of this simple yet intensely flavorful sandwich.
The moisture from the fried eggs and the hearty texture of the toast are two good married sensations for this sandwich. The oregano and peppercorn shine through too. Give this a shot. It is simple and fast. I can cook these in under ten or in just ten minutes.
