Beer Style: Marzen
Beer: Hacker-Pschorr Original Oktoberfest
Brewery: Hacker-Pschorr
Abv: 5.80%
Serving Methodology: 11.2 oz bottle poured into a pint glass
Background: This is another famous beer out of Munich brewed for the celebration of Oktoberfest. Hacker-Pschorr like Paulaner is one of the six breweries allowed to be served at the Oktoberfest.
Taste & Aroma: Toffee, nutty, bready, and malty aromas tickle your nose as you raise the glass from the table to your lips. Dark fruits, chocolate, and malt are fabulous flavors, a light toffee finish is present with a tiny hop bite. This is a fine beer. Out of all the German Oktoberfest beers, this is the one that is most complex.

Final Analysis: I have had this beer on draught in the past. It is enjoyable no matter what.
