It has been too long since I have showcased a fine cup of coffee. This is especially true regarding KCups. Green Mountain Coffee and Gevalia are two brands that I’m a believer in. I decided to begin with Green Mountain. I had observed their Founders Blend at my local grocers and I knew right away that this was the coffee to sample.

The citrus aroma has a woody accent. The wood is definitely cedar. I enjoy these two elements in my coffee when it comes to both the taste and the aroma. Founders Blend bears these elements in the flavor as well. A subtle persimmon start opens up the cuppa. Then the woody finish subtly enters the picture with the cedar. This is a bright and lovely coffee.

This is another artfully crafted coffee by Green Mountain. This is an excellent edition to any Keurig selection.
