Background:Freshly picked hops are thrown into the brew kettle after harvest to make a fuller and more floral IPA. This is one of them. This single hop IPA, which is analogous to a single malt in the fact that there’s only one grain only has Cascade hops there are other types of Heavy Handed as well. This is the Cascade version. Two Brothers has many good beers but this is another masterpiece.

Taste & Aroma: A pine resin from this well-hopped beer is clear and present. A floral scent is also detected in this excellent beer. I can detect clear crisp flavors that one expect in an IPA. A malty backbone is present though which makes this Heavy Handed beer a fine IPA with a smooth, oily mouthfeel with its lingering finish. This beer makes me smile.
