Truffles are always a good confection. I’ve never disdained a truffle, nor have I ever refused one to my knowledge. These are fun treats. Oftentimes, they’re chocolate with fruit, more chocolate, or liquor for filling. I’ve had Kahlua truffles, I’ve had fudge truffles, I’ve had Jameson truffles, bourbon truffles, raspberry truffles, Gran Marnier truffles, and mint chocolate truffles. Truffles are a treat that does not have to be chocolate though.

My wife is catering a private event this week. Tonight was the baking night for this upcoming event. She baked this and some kind of pumpkin cake. I was happy she got to bake as she oftentimes does not get to pursue this sub-specialty of the culinary arts often.

This was a delicious truffle with a lot of character. This treat was cheesecake at a fraction of the size. Delicious! Well worth having. I’m including a link to the recipe Amanda used here. Thanks for reading as always!
