Some like to dress their oysters on the halfshell. I’m not too keen on that. My father-in-law Phillip, my wife, and brother-in-law all love Bluepoint oysters. I do too. Except I prefer to leave them bare. I like the briney, mineral-forward flavor. Let them slide off the shell and into your mouth after being chucked and they’re a real treat.
