The village of Morton has about 16,700 residents. It has a great Mexican restaurant: LaFiesta which I would call the best restaurant there. The best pizza, a Morton original is Pegasus Pizza. I won’t go into the details of their history right now. But, I will say that it is a fine example of a homegrown pizza. I’m a fan.

The pizza I ordered was the sixteen inch Imperial with pineapples. Ham, sausage,mozzarella cheese, onion, green pepper, possibly another cheese, and saporito tomato sauce made this an excellent pizza which as the picture suggests has an ingredient on every bite. To paraphrase a friend, Pegasus Pizza is one of the best pizzas to have the next day. The flavors age and are made better with time. I strongly recommend this pizza without reservation if you live in the delivery area.
