Background: I have been on a Leinenkugel’s kick lately! Who does not enjoy low cost, high quality beers? Furthermore, Leinie’s specializes in great lagers. And I love a lager done right! Leinie’s has been around since 1867, and they do a great job.
Taste & Aroma: This is a malty and nutty aroma here, picture something roasting or some incense burning. This beer has a wonderful wintertime vibe that serves it quite well. The flavor is nutty, malty, and there’s a chocolate finish at the end that is earthy, reminiscent of baked chocolate. It is not too sweet.
Final Analysis: This is a fabulous lager with an excellent flavor. I highly encourage you to try this at the soonest juncture.
