Background: Amanda surprised me with this delicious beer this evening. It was a lovely surprise. This is another venture into the history and possibilities of brewing from the Guinness Brewer’s Project. Their West Indies Porter needs to be brewed year-round.
Taste & Aroma: Peppers and cloves come to mind. This one has a spicy nose. I like it. This is certainly a pleasant invitation to imbibe. The flavor is the star here though. This beer is an excellent take on a hefeweizen! I taste cloves, bananas, bubble gum, and a malty finish with the funky taste of yeast.
Final Analysis: This is another delicious beer by the brewer’s at Guinness as they move through their Guinness project.
