Background: I have not had many of Dogfish Head’s beers. The 60 Minute IPA is one of my best friend’s favorite beers. I think the 90 Minute IPA is likely the best of Dogfish Head that I have had so far. This is a big and bold beer, but it is still balanced. This is an accessible Imperial IPA.

 

Taste & Aroma: A sappy molasses and syrupy smell is what greets you prior to imbibing. Honey and malt are the flavors that resonate while drinking. The hoppy finish is bold and lingering and this adds a crisp bite to a simple yet brilliant beer!

Final Analysis: This is a solid beer with a lot of good flavors. Simple yet brilliant, and also highly accessible for being a high gravity ale.
