Spumoni is an ice cream that hails from Italy. Cherry, chocolate, and pistachio are a trifecta of flavors that induce pure pleasure upon meeting contact with your taste buds. The hearty pistachio, the semi-tart cherry, and the earthy dark chocolate are a juxtaposition of flavor and history.
Spumoni ice cream was first brought to the United States in the 1870s. In Italy it was caused Neapolitan ice cream and some still call it Neapolitian ice cream here in the United States. This ice cream is a great indulgence and I can say without a doubt that it is one of my favorites. Have you tried Spumoni? Edy’s has a wonderful example of this flavor.
