Background: Hoptimum is an excellent ale which is sentimental for me. One of my best friend and I have oftentimes enjoyed its wondrous qualities. Hoptimum is an imperial strength beer that has qualities that are oftentimes unseen in Imperial strength beers. Let’s take a closer look.
Taste & Aroma: This is a balanced beer as I said. The aroma is of resin, pineapple, and a slight bit of pine. Floral hops are present at the aroma’s tail. This beer has a malty fruity start which then turns into tart citrus, and finally a quick hop bite that is neither under powered nor offensive takes place. This is the perfect finish.
Final Analysis: Hoptimum is an excellent Imperial IPA that is the best in its style. If you enjoy this beer style, you’ll enjoy Hoptimum. Your non craft beer drinking fans may love it too!
