Brewery: Sierra Nevada
Beer: Sidecar Orange Pale Ale
Beer Style: Orange Pale Ale
Serving Method: Bottle poured into pint glass
Country of Origin: United States of America (California and North Carolina)
Background: I had been wanting to try this beer for a long, long time. Sierra Nevada has an awesome product. I do not like OtraVez though.
Taste & Aroma: There’s a lot of vanilla and a lot of sweet orange in the nose all at once. Reminds me of my time at Cracker Barrel as a really little kid drinking Stewart’s Orange Cream Soda. This is a beer though. It has a nice malty start, with the orange flavor in the middle and lastly a spicy hop bite that is lingering and it reemphasizes the orange flavor.
Final Analysis: This is a great summer beer. Check it out.
