My wife’s first gift ever to me was a brownie. I love warm brownies with lots of ganache and delicious fudge. But this blondie could easily be a rival to all brownies. Butterscotch chips provided an excellent flavor and the warmth of it straight from the oven made it delightfully nourishing.

This blondie was: rich, elegant, decadent, and I can’t remember having a better baked dessert in a long, long time.
