Background: This is a beer I spied at Kroger’s and I was curious about it. It is from Sierra Nevada, and I’d never seen it before. I figured let’s take the plunge. Here we are now. Taking the plunge.

Taste & Aroma: The peppery beginning is followed by a slight whiff of bready spices, followed by a deep malt backbone. The finish is rather abrupt.

Final Analysis: Excellent beer! This is a good example of a rye IPA. I’m a fan.
