Background: Fall is a time of excellent beers. I figured it is time ti try Lenie’s Oktoberfest in 2017.
Taste & Aroma: Sweet toasted grain is what tickles my nostrils before imbibing. Not much of anything else is detectable. This is a sweeter Marzen! I am tasting sweet toasted malt, with a hint of honey, and a warming caramel finish.
Final Analysis: This is not my favorite Oktoberfest. I believe it is far too sweet.
