Brewery: Sierra Nevada
ABV: 8.00%
Beer Style: Double (Imperial) India Pale Ale
Country of Origin: United States of America
Serving Method: Bottle poured into dimpled pint
Background: Sierra Nevada is one of the greatest names in craft brewing. From their 1980s California roots to their global brand they have today they’ve proven themselves pioneers. They were at the craft beer scene from the start. Now they continue to blaze trails with the Hop Bullet. This is one excellent example of a beer a hop head will adore! Sierra Nevada is one of my favorite breweries. I’ve reviewed several of their beers before. Check out these links below.
Taste/Aroma: The woodsy, piney aroma of malt and hops is present right away. A good bite hits me right away and then a malt backbone surfaces. A lingering hoppy bite follows at the end and as you keep drinking this mighty ale that lingering hoppy bite keeps gnawin at ya.
Analysis: This India Pale Ale is one for the hop heads. Yet, it is subtle enough for a non hop fanatic to enjoy if they have their feet wet in the world of IPAs.
