Amanda surprised me with a wonderful soup and sandwich for a dinner. It was brilliant. The sandwich was paté on French baguette. The bread was airy, crispy, crusty, and filling. The paté was earthy and savory. It was Old Wisconsin’s onion and parsley spreadable paté. I had always wanted to try it and the flavors are impressive when it comes to their paté.
The tortellini soup was elegant, zesty, sausage-laden, and delightfully dumpling forward! The tortellini was filled with three mellow cheeses and it meshed well with the sausage. I’m happy to say I’m a fan of my wife’s cooking and in particular this meal. I loved it.
