Background: I have been on a Mexican beer kick lately. Fabulous beers they have. I recently was at a party where Tecate was served. And I loved it! Dos Equis Especial is a fine beer. Is it my favorite? No, but I will say it is a brilliant summertime beer.

Taste & Aroma: A sweet grainy aroma  with some sweet bread is in the first sniff before imbibing. The taste is and is always the star of any beer. It can smell of skunk, and still taste delicious. A spicy start, a sweet candy like middle, and a malty finish is present in this beer.

Pending Analysis: This is a sweet beer from the bottle. Too sweet for my taste—not sickly sweet though. I would like to try it from the tap.
