In the evening I adore a good dark roast coffee. I do not drink them during the day, but they’re a nice before dinner drink. They’re also a good post-snowfall beverage too. I can happily say that Green Mountain captured what a great dark roast can be with Lake & Lodge.
A cedary fragrance greets the drinker before the first sip is taken. It reminds me of a good and warm log cabin.

The flavor is earthy and citrusy. The finish is a lingering caramel-like one that makes me think of a great classic espresso. I could easily see myself enjoying this coffee with friends and family around the fireside indoors or outdoors. I need to dry this in my drip coffee maker as well.
