Beer: Lost Lager Dry-Hopped Pilsner
Brewery: Brewdog
Beer Style: Pilsner
Abv: 4.7%
Country of Origin: Scotland/United States of America (Ohio)
Serving Method: 12 oz can poured into pint glass.
Background: I’ve always wanted to try a beer from Brewdog. I only know them by reputation. I’m eager to sample this fine brew.
Taste & Aroma: I get a whiff of biscuits and crackers when I smell this lager for the first time. It is true to style in that regard! The taste is sharp, malty, bready, and biscuity with a lingering spicy finish that is more subtle than Pilsner Uquell. When gulped the beer has a sharper taste.
Final Analysis: This is a brilliant beer. This pilsner can hold its own with style classics like Urquell, Warsteiner, and others. I’m a fan and hopefully I can have it on draught someday. Check it out. I’m eager to try more brewdog beers.
