Lately, I’ve been on a margarita kick—and  Amanda makes some tremendous margaritas. From what I have observed the secret to a good margarita is the tequila. And 1800 Reposado or El Jimador Reposado does the trick quite well.

2 Parts Reposado Tequila

1/2 Part Simple Syrup

1 Part Triple Sec

1 Part Lime Juice

And from what I’ve seen a reposado tequila does well in a margarita. I’ve not found that perfect tequila yet though.
