Background: This beer is one I’ve been enjoying for a long, long time. This is an ale that has a timeless quality to it. I like it in the spring, summer, and the winter. It has a great character and it has a classic feel. When I’m having this beer I feel like I’m drinking something that an ancestor might have in an English pub.

Taste & Aroma: I smell malt as I bring the glass up to my nose. I’m really after flavor though. I can taste the dark fruits mentioned on the can and a malt finish highlights the beverage. Again, this is a year-round beer. You can enjoy it in the summer or the winter. Right now in a May’s night I’m having it and I love it.
Final Analysis: This is a great, easy drinking beer. If you are in the mood for a beer from the UK—this is a fine choice. If you are in the mood for a pale ale from the UK this is a great choice!
