All right. Brandon here for our Weekly Update. Two fun things and one apology.
Fun thing one, Wax and Wayne, bing!, 75%. This is for draft number two. I should be finishing that this week and turning it in, which leaves next we me starting on the fourth Skyward book. I’m very excited by that.

Item number two is, if somehow you missed it, we are doing a set of novellas surrounding the launch of Cytonic. I’m really excited by these. I hope that you guys will give them a chance. They are co-authored with Janci, a good friend of mine, and they are covering what’s happening while Spensa is doing things in Cytonic with the rest of the team. And we have a cover reveal for the first one, which we’re going to show you now.

This is FM, who’s a character from the books. The book comes out next week, the first of these novellas. I hope that you guys will give this a chance and support it. I think it is really great. I think you’re really going to enjoy it.

Finally, the apology. We tried to launch our Dragonsteel Mini-Con this week. Well, last week when you’re seeing this. And we had a big problem with our back end. We’re using a very large, reputable e-commerce platform. They were supposed to handle this. And for some reason, sometimes when people went to fill in their information it auto-filled with someone else’s information. Fortunately, no credit cards were involved, no social security numbers. It was just name and address. But this was very disconcerting for us. We still don’t know exactly what happened. Apparently, this bug has shown up with other people using the same e-commerce platform. And so we have abandoned it and we have moved.

But I do have to deeply apologize to you. I am glad for those of you who sent us emails and warned us it was happening so we could pull it down and put a stop to it, so that we could fix it. We think we have it fixed now. And we are going to timidly restart taking orders and things on this. We’re going to do it with our primary store instead of trying to use this other e-commerce site, because we know our primary store has been secure so far. So if you’re wanting to give it another try, that should be live now.

You can watch last week’s Weekly Update to explain what it is we’re doing with the convention and things like that. We are still moving forward with the convention, and we feel pretty good that we got this stopped before too much happened. We’re doing everything we can to make that right. Thank you, guys, as always, for your support. And I hope that this time we won’t have so many problems with launching this convention.
